ReelsPip does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data. There is no data collection of any kind.
The extension runs a content script only on instagram.com pages. When you click its floating button on an Instagram Reel, it starts the browser's native Picture-in-Picture mode for the current video and automatically advances to the next Reel when one ends. All of this happens locally in your browser.
While (and only while) a PiP session is running, the extension also makes the page believe the tab is still visible, so Instagram doesn't pause the video the moment you switch tabs — this only affects how the page behaves on your own screen and involves no data of any kind.
This extension does not collect any personal information, browsing history, analytics, or usage data. It has no background process, no network requests, and no remote servers. Nothing you do while using this extension is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
The extension only requests host access to instagram.com, which is required so its content script can detect Reels pages and control the page's video element. This access is used solely for the extension's core functionality and for nothing else.
This extension does not integrate with, or share data with, any third-party service, advertiser, or analytics provider.
